Often you remember a dinner in fragments, people you where at the restaurant with, the environment and most likely a few flavors that will stay top of mind as memory's.
This time the restaurant presented a great Champagne for starters. The only thing sticking was the flavor, the name disappeared with the bubbles.
Some of the wines went really really well with the food, as others were the so specific they could never been served with other then that particular dish/flavor. Interesting situation for a wine... (but guess like any business that were that winery makes it cash from, niched products).
The menu:
starters:
langustine - broth, cracker, turnip
vendance roe - jerusalem artichoke, flaxseed, butter
beef - leek, parsley, almond
main:
skrei - salsify, whey, dulce
reindeer - yellow beet, rowan berries, marrow
After:
pine bark - fried almond paste, syrup
Restaurant Volt in Stockholm was a good experience, so pass it by!

Airport vs airport
As everyone want to monetize more and more, the fine line of quality and service is being challenged .
Singapore airport had almost everything you could ever need for free. WiFi, entertainment, lounge, rest areas, fresh drinking water and even parks(!?!).
Sitting at Bangkok airport at a cafe (no wifi included) is just bit sad when been experiencing a great alternative.
What do modern passengers want, at what cost and who will pay?
Since data connections is almost free/included in any mobile subscription today, internet becomes a available standard. Something that is always on and expected to be available free anywhere, 24/7, included in any price you already paid (airline ticket etc), since you have a boarding pass that could be used as a key if required to connect identity .
How about offline time?
Should it be forced or is it up to every person, what should be common senses in this question of life on/offline?
Is it the rules suggested by the mother to her kid when getting a smart phone?
Or as you might learn in the military service in the field where you been striped searched before an training exercise and is forced offline for next 14 days?
More mobile providers are advertising time offline to recharge and recover, so you better can be at full speed when require. Even workplaces are now showing that their brand try to draw a line between work and free time.
As airport was designed to look similar more and more over the world to make traveling and navigation at the airport easier, by using recognizable symbols and signs people can easily find there way to check in and then on to gates where they will board their flights.
- So will this happen again now, but with standard services and costs?
Will non-business passengers demand internet access it since they are expecting it?
We will travel and see, but Singapore airport is great area the next time I visit the city or are or in transfer.

apps and services at global level
As more and more people start to create small niched services/apps etc (just think about the 40 billion downloads on iOS recently announced http://feber.se/ios/art/260612/40_miljarder_appar_nedladdade_/ [link to swe text]).
I think more and more providers need to consider how to scale services or be able to export concepts faster.
This also includes the big players. Being out side of US the amount of content is experienced as very very limited.
I had realized it more and more after leaving US 2012 autumn with a new Android Nexus tablet. Even do the Nexus is available in Sweden, when you seen all the content available in US usage isn't as overwhelming anymore.
Of course quality of content is an issue it self, since there is so much, but still. Not being able to browse the "magazine" section in the Google Play store was a experience set back for me. And does not help me to move towards a paperless life-stile yet. (and no i'm not taking any short cut around it proxy:ing etc).
So how will digital consumption vs rights owners work this out?
And how quickly?

Training update
As winter progress and the indoor move is done, maintenance of stamina is ongoing. And re-building some core strength.
Some really good first results. Going to be interesting to see how a run will go around new years.

Time vs Value
As more and more people spend loads of time on "face time" at an office. Understanding value of time and effort becomes more and more challenging.

Pandas, cartons and others in companies and music videos?
Many people most likely remember a song and a character from and old jeans commercial
"Mr. Oizo Flat Beat".
And it's on a rampage back in to loads of this things... There is even a Spotify Panda that keeps hanging out at the office and the company party's!
